After 10 years as a nurse and completing my Masters in Education, I was used to curriculum, hands-on training, and clear pathways to competence. So when I entered the beauty industry, I was surprised by how inconsistent education really was. Most certification programs give a brief overview at best, and then suddenly… you’re expected to be ready.

But hands-on experience, the part that actually builds confidence and sets you apart, isn’t easily accessible.

Sure, there are great mentors out there. But how do you find them? How do you build those relationships in a way that’s actually beneficial? And how do you skip years of trial and error just to get to the point where you feel confident, credible, and profitable?

I’m Chantel. I left my full-time nursing job burned out and looking for something more creative and fulfilling.

I built my own concierge med spa where I treat clients independently, focusing on helping them feel and look their best from the inside out.

I quickly realized the reason clients come back, and refer others, isn’t just service. It’s skill, confidence, and results. That only comes from getting really good.

When I went looking for mentorship, I mostly found online education. While that has its place, it wasn’t enough. I needed real, hands-on guidance to feel confident in my work.
